Good for health and tasty Moong Dal Curry

Moong Dal Curry

Ingredients:

1 Cup Moong Dal.
3 Cup Curd bit sour in taste.
2 Red Chills and Kadipatta or Sweet Neem leaf.
½ tsp Jeera (Cumin) seed
½ tsp Mustard Seeds.
¼ tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
Dalchini (cinnamon), Garam Masala (Spice mixture), Haldi/haldi (Turmeric)
Salt according to taste
Corinder to garnish

How to prepare.

Soak the moong dal overnight.
Mix the dal after soaking in mixer.
Prepare the paste of dal.
Add half of the paste in curd. Mix it well. Add 2 cups of water. Keep this mix in vessel.
Take the half dal paste add turmeric, baking powder, chilli powder and coriander in a bowl. Add salt to taste.
Heat oil in pan.
Put the balls like shapes by spoon in oil. (pakoras).
Deep fry the pakoras in oil until golden brown.
Take 1 tsp oil in pan.
Add ½ tsp Jeera (Cumin) seed , ½ tsp Mustard Seeds, ¼ tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
Add red chills and Kadipatta (Sweet Neem leaf).
Add also Dalchini (cinnamon), Garam Masala (Spice mixture), Haldi/haldi (Turmeric).
Now add this in the mixture of curd and dal. Add pakoras also with the mixture.
Stir well.
Heat for 15 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
